Realistic Koi Sculpture in Bronze

A life-size realistic Koi Sculpture in Bronze by artist sculptor Caesar Yanez, produced by The American Fine Arts Foundry in Burbank, California.

The koi sculpture will depict three large koi measuring 27 inches each. The top koi will be in the likeness of a Showa. The middle koi a Kohaku and the bottom koi a Utsuri Tancho.

The Artist Caesar Yanez is a koi hobbyist and member of the Nishiki Koi Club in Orange County. He and his wife have been involved with koi since 1990. They built their first pond in 2012.

Prior to sculpting his first koi in 2007, he surrounded himself with koi judges and koi hobbyist in order to help him sculpt the koi as realistic as possible. The artist likes to use opens in a new windowChavant’s NSP Hard when sculpting his koi.

Here are the estimated specs for the bronze:

• The over all height is about 5’6″
• All three frogs will have their patina in the likeness of leopard frogs
• The base will consist of a 25″ diameter, 2″ thick black granite
